What are the buy-out fees if we decide to exit with the team?
Alcor doesn’t impose any buyout fees, and you can freely insource the team at any time.
Will these engineers work our normal U.S. hours?
Yes. We recruit in Eastern-European and Latin-American time zones that overlap 4–6 hours with U.S. business hours. In fact, the time difference with most Latin American countries is just 2 hours. Daily stand-ups, code reviews, and Slack responsiveness all happen in real time, so you won’t be managing an “overnight shift”.
What seniority and English level can we expect?
We source only mid-to-senior engineers (avg. 5-8 years’ experience). All pass a B2+ spoken-English interview and a technical skills test before you ever see their CV.
