Before founding Alcor, Dmytro spent 7+ years at Eastern Europe’s largest software firms, rising from Head of Legal at Luxoft to Managing Director at SBT Systems. His academic background includes programs at the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Geneva. Having seen firsthand how US and European tech companies struggled to access top engineering talent and navigate the legal and compliance complexities of international hiring, he launched Alcor – a company purpose-built to turn those pain points into scalable, high-performing R&D centers.
Since then, he and his team have worked closely with some of the most ambitious US, European, and Israeli tech companies – from early-stage startups to industry names like Pindrop, Backstory (ex-People.ai ), BigCommerce, ThredUp, Sift, and Dotmatics – helping them hire, employ, and support dedicated engineering teams in Latin America and Eastern Europe without opening local entities or losing control to outsourcing vendors.
